Three ways to make rice crispies go from Good to Amazing:
1. Brown the butter. Make sure to keep an eye on it so it doesn't turn into burnt butter. 2. Use homemade/good quality marshmallows. 3. Add a little bit of salt flakes on top. I used maldon sea salt.
Thankfully these are such simple steps to add that anyone could do it. The browned butter and salt add a nice depth of flavor rather than being tooth achingly sweet, and a good quality marshmallow will give it a softer, springier texture! Let me know how it works you for you!
